Hatton Textiles International Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic product designer and developer. Our client base which is a mix of Private Labels, consumer / retail brands and prominent names in Sport all look to Hatton Textiles for their woven textiles needs. As such we need additional design capability to create new ranges that fit with the ethos of our clients brands.

Qualifications

Educated to at least A level.
Design based degree or equivalent. (textiles or graphic)

Computer Knowledge

Microsoft Excel, Word and CRM databases, Quark, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator etc.

Duties:

To create new ranges of textiles and associated products to fit with the needs of each client.
Reactively and proactively respond to briefs from sales people and clients alike.
Create marketing materials, packaging, adornments and accessories to fit with each brief.
Create mood boards and pictorial collages to show understanding of each brand and client.
Support all designs with fabrics and adornments to enable the sales process to take place.

The person.

Fashion and creative led.

Ability to interpret a brief and translate it into a meaningful range of products.

Ability to present to individuals and groups.

Clear understanding of weaving and fabric manufacturing capabilities.

Excited and understanding of decorating techniques.

Ability to source and create new ideas and concepts.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge or experience in one of the following areas:

Sales / Sports promotion Industry

Consumer / Sports retailing

Branded textiles / clothing

Bespoke / custom made textiles

Corporate / graphic design and branding.

Second language, preferably French or Spanish.

Hours.
Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30
Additional hours where required to complete duties.
Occassional foreign trips to meet with suppliers

Package
Basic Salary to reflect experience and prevailing rates.
Stakeholder pension.

Sales Executive

Hatton Textiles International Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Executive to generate new business in the world of sport. We already supply woven and printed towels, scarves and headwear as supporters merchandise to a number of football, rugby, tennis and water sports clubs throughout the UK. The role will involve extensive travel and overnight stays.

Duties:

Ongoing management of existing accounts via the telephone and face to face meetings to increase organic growth.
Cold calling to generate new business.
Diary management and appointment booking for sales presentations.
Presenting a range of concepts and products to buyers within clubs.
Generating leads, preparing quotations and closing sales.
To contact each customer on a regular and managed basis ie; monthly

The person

Quick thinker.
Ability to create and maintain relationships.
Ability to spot an opportunity and close sales.
Customer care skills
Dispute resolution skills
Ability to cross and up-sell.
Clearly spoken with a good telephone manner and a good command of the English Language.

Desirable Skills:
Knowledge or experience in one of the following areas:

Sales Promotion Industry
Advertising and Marketing
Corporate Uniforms
Bespoke / custom made textiles
Corporate / graphic design and branding.
Second language, preferably French or Spanish.
